Thank you for an excellent course. For me, it was exactly what I needed: two hours a week, learning the basic techniques of freehand drawing in pencil. And it focused precisely on what I needed to practice — seeing lines and shapes, being precise, and maintaining concentration on the whole.
I also felt that the exercises were connected and naturally led into one another — especially the pattern-drawing exercises and the bottles.
It was fun and the level of challenge was just right: a good balance of theory and practice. It was interesting to hear Alexandra talk about how she herself views the artistic process and the act of seeing. I’ve been inspired and have started practicing on my own at home.
It feels like I’m already more attentive and seeing things in a new way. I want to — and truly will — continue!
